Plymouth Diecast Models
Plymouth was a brand of American automobiles produced by the Chrysler Corporation from 1928 until it’s demise in 2001. The brand first appeared in 1928 to compete with what was then described as the "low-priced" market segment dominated by Chevrolet and Ford. The origins of the Plymouth brand can be traced to the Maxwell-Chambers Car Company that was then in control of Walter Chrysler in early 1921. After the founding of the Chrysler Corporation in 1925, the reworked versions of the last Maxwell models from 1926 to 1928, eventually became known as a Chrysler-Plymouth.
